Mountain biking and hiking on your GPS or smartphone
Megève is keeping ahead with the latest technology by offering an interface adapted to summer activities. This new application, named “Megève Ski, Rando & VTT” (Megève Skiing, Hiking & Mountain Biking), can be downloaded free from Apple Store and Android Market. It provides not only a wide range of very practical services: the resort’s weather, a directory of local shops, hotels, restaurants and services, a map of the village, an updated diary of events and entertainment, but in particular mountain biking and hiking itineraries, with your and your friends’ geolocation* on an interactive map and goodies making it possible to calculate your speed of progression or distance covered.
