Safety skiing

Security, so that skiing remains a pleasure :

  • Make sure your children wear a helmet.
  • Make sure your children wear protective goggles or sunglasses (index 4).
  • Check that you are correctly insured.
  • Study the map of the pistes and check
opening and closing times. If in any doubt, ask ski patrolmen, ski rescuers, instructors or guides.
  • Drink plenty of water, and eat, with the cold and effort you burn more calories.
  • Do warming up exercises. The mountain
    is sport!
  • Check and adjust your bindings. It's essential, in the case of a fall, to limit the effects of a sprained knee, before putting your skis on, remove the snow between your boots and skis.
    On the slopes:

  • Check your speed.
  • And make sure to look above and below you.
