Safety skiing
Security, so that skiing remains a pleasure :
- Helmet – a basic accessory for the whole family.
- Make sure your children wear protective goggles or sunglasses (index 4).
- Check that you are correctly insured.
- Study the map of the pistes and check opening and closing times. If in any doubt, ask ski patrolmen, ski rescuers, instructors or guides.
- Drink plenty of water, and eat, with the cold and effort you burn more calories.
- Do warming up exercises. The mountain is sport!
- Check and adjust your bindings. It's essential, in the case of a fall, to limit the effects of a sprained knee, before putting your skis on, remove the snow between your boots and skis.

- Check your speed.
- And make sure to look above and below you.
