From past to present

To pay homage to Megève’s numerous champions who have honoured the history of skiing, the village, in collaboration with the ski lifts and Megève Tourism (initiator of the project) have decided to put them on display.
“The goal is to make our sportsmen and women known, to highlight our champions and to show that Megève is a sporting village”, Lionel Burille, Deputy Mayor in charge of Sport, points out. Thus, the Mont d’Arbois cable car station and the cars are decorated with photos of each of the skiers.
By using the new flash code technology you can also find their winners’ lists in the cable cars.
